I’m a Brazilian-American researcher and associate producer. I’ve been a full-time or freelance researcher for documentaries for over ten years, working mostly on programs and films treating historical themes and social issues. I’ve crafted or collaborated on research projects for Discovery Channel, Globo, Fox, PBS, Stitcher, and dozens of independent filmmakers and producers.

I’ve earned a History degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and am a Ph.D. student at Columbia University, where I am the Graduate History Association co-president and the department’s representative within the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. As a scholar, I study the intellectual history of labor education, interracial labor organization, and the intellectual history of New York City in the early 20th century.

When I’m not reading or researching, you’ll find me in the kitchen.
